Metal tubular electric heating element(also can be briefly called electric heater), is generally composed of heating element and magnesia powder. i.e. putting the electric heating element into the metal tube, and tightly filling the inter-space with the magnesium oxide powder which is of good heat resistance, thermal conductivity and insulation characteristics.
Properities of the electric heating element:
1. Stable electrical property:
Generally speaking, once plugging into the electric power, the carbon fiber quartz electric heating element will not generate any instantaneous power shock, even with the long-term constant start & shutdown work, the power will still be stable within a certain tolerance range.
2. High thermal efficiency:
It can save 30% more energy than the other metal product when heating. It is quick in the rise of temperature, the carbon fiber heating material. Therefore, it is equipped with the characteristics of rapid heating, low heat lag, uniform heat transfer, and fast heat transfer. Besides, its luminous flux is far less than the other metal heating material when working. The heat transfer efficiency is up to over 95% (i.e., you use a 1000w conventional thermal tube, which requires only 700 w for the carbon electric heating element).
Way of verifying the Good Quality Electric Heating Element.
First, wipe the electric heating element surface carefully, and then turn on the AC 220V power supply, observe its burning in the dry air. Cut off the power once the surface is turning red. After the electric heating element cooling completely, wipe the surface with a clean paper napkin. If there’s no black oxide powder(no chemical reaction with oxygen in the air), then it is the electric heating element of good quality. Otherwise, there’s the black oxide powder that reflected the chemical reaction with the oxygen in the air, then it’s not of good quality, it’s impure.
The correct formula is: C *M*T=P (power) *T (time).
C=the specific heat capacity of heating matter;
M=the total mass of heating matter
T=the temperature difference
