What should be paid attention to when using the liquid heating element?


       As for the liquid electric heating element, it is mainly used for the heating of water and oil. When it comes to the matter of power setting, for water heating, the power per meter should be no more than 2KW; for oil heating, the power per meter should be no more than 1.5KW. Other liquids with corrosive acid base are mainly related to the material, and the power setting is similar to that of boiling water.

  • 1.For liquid electric heating element, the first thing is to prevent the dry-burning:

           When the oil heating element is setting power, the per unit length power is relatively a little bigger. Once it happens to the dry burning, the heating element temperature will rise sharply, which will result in high internal temperature, and the heating wire is fusing, then further impacting service life.

  • 2.Do not squeeze the liquid heating element:

           During transportation and storage, do not squeeze the electric heating element to prevent the rupture caused by extrusion, short circuit leakage and other conditions will occur once power is applied, and the power should be cut off immediately in case of such conditions.

  • 3.Be cautious during the installation:

           When installing the stainless steel heating element, please be sure that the effective heating area part should be totally immersed into the liquid, in case of any dry-burning phenomenon due to the partial heating part exposed to the air, and further has a great influence on the service life. 

  • 4.Pay attention to clean up the surface of the electric heating element dirt in time:

           For example, when heating water for a period of time after the stainless steel electric heating pipe wall will form scale, should be cleaned regularly, to prevent the scale too thick heating pipe internal temperature is too high.

  • 5.About the matter of accessing to power:

           Pay attention to the voltage when connecting the electric heating element, be sure not to connect the heating element of 220v power supply to 380v circuit.
